Sermon On the Mount: What's Love Got To do With It?

Big Idea: Jesus takes us deeper into the meaning and purpose of the Law, and that no one can live up to it...but we have the Cross!

Notes:

• The Law became a stumbling block to the Pharisees as they relied on their self-righteousness, and therefore not the grace on the cross.
• The Law shows us that we cannot fulfill it.
• We need to rely on the righteousness of Jesus, instead of our own self-righteousness.
