As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.  Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.1 Corinthians 15:48.

But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. 1 Corin 6:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.  All this is from God, 2 Corinthians 17:18.

Job 14:2

He comes out like a flower and withers; he flees like a shadow and continues not.

For we are but of yesterday and know nothing, for our days on earth are a shadow.

All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls.

Isaiah 40:6-8

A voice says, “Cry!” And I said, “What shall I cry?” All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field. In fact, they can no longer die, because they are like the angels. And since they are sons of the resurrection, they are sons of God. LUKE 20:36

Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 1 JOHN3:2
