As we approach the holiday season, it's a great opportunity to reflect on what we're thankful for. It's also a good time to dream a little beyond just our needs to our wants... What do you want for a present this year?
Typically, financial professionals are going to invite you to consider your wants verses your needs so that you'll spend less and invest more with them... raising their fees.
I want to flip the script and ask you, "What do you really need?" Do you need a huge ROI? Do you need an emergency fund? Do you need a budgeting software? Do you need to give yourself a break and allow yourself to spend a little more freely? Do you need life insurance?
