The negative consequences of an unplanned pregnancy are numerous. For one, there may be maternal or child health issues to consider. Also, an unplanned pregnancy often comes with questions surroundings one’s ability to pursue a job, or education and economic consequences can be tremendous. An unplanned pregnancy often leads the woman or the couple to have to make difficult decisions about abortion, or relationships status. For all these reasons, contraception is integral to the health and well-being of women of childbearing age.
