I know Phil not to be a guy who repeats himself, but anytime we spoke about basketball He would insert his cousin! I met Phil in 2003 and didn’t met Poppa for the first time until we recorded episode 104 (at least I believe that was our first time being acquainted). Poppa was a child from New Territory who worked his way to becoming a professional basketball player! In this episode, Poppa defines himself as (8:17) as a grinder because his Amazon best seller book derived from it. The Wake Up Call, comes from the sign Poppa received during his journey in basketball. People should take that (9:41) many people talk it but He lived it and went through it.
