In April 2016, the Center on Global Energy Policy brought together senior energy and climate leaders to discuss pressing issues at the intersection of energy policy, financial markets, the environment and geopolitics for the 2016 Columbia Global Energy Summit. This panel focused on the follow-up to the Paris climate agreement and how businesses can adapt their business models. Participants included: Carlos Pascual, former US Special Envoy for International Energy Affairs, US Department of State; William Reilly, Senior Advisor, TPG and former US EPA Administrator; Todd Stern, former US Special Envoy for Climate Change, US Department of State; and, Laurence Tubiana, Special Representative for the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, French Minister of Foreign Affairs.
