When Jesus was asked to solve an issue of inheritance, He declined. Instead, he told a parable about a very wealthy man who was about to die. Material wealth can be a god. Covetousness is our worship of it. What really matters is if we are rich toward God. Are our treasures in heaven or will we leave them all behind when we die?
