THE VEIL REPRESENTED:

1. A barrier to God.

“…the entrance to the Most Holy Place was not freely open”

2. The need for an advocate.

“But only the high priest ever entered the Most Holy Place…”

3. The limitedness of the old covenant (Law).

“The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow…”

THE NAIL PURCHASED

1. Permanent access to God.

“For Christ died for sins once for all…”

2. A personal advocate.

“So Christ has now become the High Priest …”

3. A new invitation to be close to God.

“…since we have a great High Priest …let us go right into the presence of God”
