Matthew Chapter 1 and verse 23 tells us, "BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which translated means, "GOD WITH US." According to the prophecy, God would come from heaven to earth at some point in a very unconventional way. He would come through a virgin.
