In today's episode, Dan interviews Shack Baker who is the Founder and CEO of The Property Shack. The company sources and develops off-market land and airspace opportunities utilising offsite manufacturing and modern methods of construction.
Alongside that, he is a Co-Director of Leap Factory UK, an offsite construction company that supplies high-performance eco friendly and sustainable buildings. Ideal for self-builders and developers looking for a zero-carbon build system.
Shack, is also a creative entrepreneur, mentor and host of the Watford property investors network (pin) meeting. In 2020 he won the strategy of the year award on Property Entrepreneur for offsite construction and airspace development. He is currently in the process of shooting the first series of online production 'What's The Big Deal?' which delves into large residential development schemes and the method of construction behind them.
One of Shack's main passions is to support and give back to the community. To do this he has created a social enterprise called H.O.P.E. (Haus Of Performing Excellence) which helps young people at risk and ex-offenders get training in offsite construction and self-development.
