The most at-risk age cohort in the Covid-19 pandemic is 65 years and older, and the responses to the pandemic in various countries have, in some instances, had catastrophic results in this age cohort, particularly in economically affluent countries with proportionally greater senior citizen age cohorts. But it isn’t only up to decision makers at national level to make decisions about what to do to protect vulnerable seniors.
