What’s the Difference? Again!

Listen Later

In this episode Teresa and Patricia talk about words that can be hard to understand the difference between.

Examples from this episode are:

say vs. tell [say is about the what and tell is about the who]

although vs. in spite of [although + S + V, S + V; in spite of + N S + V]

Note: Tell has some special usages or idiomatic meanings. Tell a lie, tell the truth, tell a secret, tell a story, tell the time, & tell you about the person are correct but not say.
