Just before the June CPI/inflation report was released, CNS opinion/commentary contributor Ken Davis was a guest and argues that the actual inflation rate in the US is far more than what is being claimed by government officials. Davis discusses political motivations for minimizing the numbers being reported and says government typically uses sleight-of-hand accounting maneuvers to make the inflation report, as bad as it is, less shocking than he thinks it should show.
