As the Faculty of Arts and Letters' Class of 2022 on-site graduation rites await, let us look back on the experiences during the face-to-face and online setup through the lens of a graduating AB student.

You can never be too young to be aware, vocal, and empowered. Issues in society are multi-sectoral and intergenerational. The youth plays an important role in being pioneers of change towards a more progressive and proactive society. 

In today's episode of "TALAKAYAN: The Podcast" the AB Political Science alumnus and Former Central Student Council President, Francis Gabriel "Kiko" Santos, will be sharing his insightful remarks to further motivate us to take our part as the youth of today in strengthening our involvement in our country's political landscape, promoting the idea of democracy and exercising our rights as the Filipino youth.

As different socio-political issues unfold on a daily basis, the national consciousness of today’s youth has become more apparent, proving yet again the immortalized line of Dr. Jose Rizal “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan”.

The culture of media has heavily influenced the youth in becoming more informed and proactive. It has empowered individuals, enabling them to have their very own platforms to voice out almost anything on their mind, but as we've been repeatedly told, "With great power comes great responsibility.".

Joining us for this episode are Gaile Gregorio and Alyan Cortez who will be sharing their online classes lifehacks as we have now transitioned to e-learning.

Gaile Gregorio was the former Asst. Treasurer and now Secretary of the Red Cross Youth Council – AB Unit. Likewise, is the current Stage Manager of the UST Journalism Society. Gaile is a consistent part of the dean’s lister.

Alyan Cortes is the Interim President of the UST English Language Society and the Corporate Treasurer of the Student Organization Coordinating Council (SOCC) for this academic year. Alyan is also a consistent part of dean’s lister just like Gaile.

College is full of ups and downs with a few bumps along the road but it is a journey definitely worth-taking! On this episode of Artlets Survival Guide Podcast, learn how to conquer the challenges that you may encounter during your stay in AB from our guests Miguel Jimenez and Kiko Santos!

Miguel Jimenez was a former Senior High School instructor at the UST and the Collegio de San Juan de Letran Senior High School. Last 2016 he graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Letters with the degree in History. During his stay the university, he was a student assistant and a staff in TomasinoWeb.

Francis Gabriel “Kiko” Santos was the Former Central Student Council President. He graduated from the university with a degree in Political Science last 2019. He’s currently working the Anti-Red Tape Authority as a Project Development Officer and currently taking his Master of Arts in Political Economy at the University Of Asia and the Pacific.
