We’re taking a break from the more proactive sides of this conversation to step back and observe:

What makes not just a friend, but a good friend, a close friend, a deep friend, a best friend, a true friend??

And do you have any? To have even one would be a massive blessing, but you might not have taken the time to think through it before now.

Let’s begin to look at some of the character and relational traits that you can keep an eye out for, if you’re not sure that you have friendships that can be described with the aforementioned modifiers, or that you can be grateful to have access to if you do.
