What's Your Conscience, If I Ask You Why? Part Two
"My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths
so that they have not hurt me because I was found innocent before Him; and
also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.” Daniel 6:22
Imagine for a moment if I ask you, What's your
conscience? Remember, your conscience is that inner voice that guides your
actions based on what you believe is right or wrong. The compass directs you
toward honesty, kindness, and justice. In the midst of adversity, Daniel's
unwavering commitment to serving God was put to the ultimate test. When
questioned about his conscience in following God, Daniel Chapter 6 teaches us
that our purpose in serving God should remain steadfast and resolute,
regardless of our circumstances.
Just like a mirror reflects our true image, our
conscience reflects the sincerity of our intentions toward God. It shows
whether we're serving Him wholeheartedly or just going through the motions. In
this story, when Daniel was thrown into the lion's den, his conscience remained
clear because he had full faith in God's plan and trusted in His purpose for

2 Corinthians 4:2 says, "But we have renounced
disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with
God's word, but by the open statement of the truth, we would commend ourselves
to everyone's conscience in the sight of God."
