Gospel for the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Matthew 13:24-35
Jesus shares with us three more parables, once again using images simple to understand such as planting seeds in a garden, a mustard seed and yeast. All of these things point us to the Kingdom of God. They also point us to ourselves. We are that garden and we are filled with both wheat and weeds. Jesus says to let them grow together. Now why on earth would He say that?
