when the first blossom falls I shall remember thee

when sunlight emerges from dark summer clouds your spirit shall be here with me

and in times when the hand of time weighs heavy at season's turn my love for thee shall deepen with each moment I miss you, for it is moments with you for which I yearn

my heart shall learn more deeply the value of time each change upon the wind, each breath a song, singing in delight of you I am bound here in time, remembering your spirit, beautiful and free
