Although she has been an artist her entire life, she chose a different career to avoid the “starving artist” life. She continued to create art in addition to working full time until so much changed for her in 2021. Her first painted pillow attracted so much attention and that became the fuel that grew her art into a business and led her to pursue it as a career instead of a hobby.
Charissa’s art is process and practice is a natural overflow of the peacefulness she wants to bring into the world.
