When Change And Progress Feel Slow
When what you want feels slow coming, it's easy to think that maybe it's not meant for you, or maybe you're just not the right person for it.
It's true, some things really do take time. But I think they take that time because that's the time it takes to heal what we think is wrong or not enough about us, and rewrite the story of what we think is possible for us.
I've seen shifts happen so quickly when I started rewriting my old stories. A lot can happen in six months, a week, and even 24 hours.
It's not that is has to take so much time to happen. It's that we have to take the time to look at what we're believing about ourselves and our possibilities.
A lot of it comes down to worthiness and fear.
Sometimes, we're afraid of having the thing we want. That fear keeps it away from us until we feel safe having it. That takes a lot of healing work and thought work. Sometimes it's literally like shifting what we've always known.
What I really want you to know with this workshop is: what you want is possible for you (in fact, it wants you too) AND it doesn't have to take as much time as you think. What it comes down to is what you're thinking, more than what you're doing. So if it comes down to it, do less, and pay attention to your thoughts more.
