Larry Kay teaches children and families about pets by creating award-winning children’s educational media. His company, Animal Wow (www.animalwow.com) has won many awards, including the Dove Foundation’s “Four Doves” award for promoting Judeo-Christian family values in its work to help children become safe and successful with pets. In this interview, Larry and I discuss the importance of positive pet experiences in the family, and some ways that parents can help children discover themselves as they discover pets.
