When do chickens start laying eggs? Lots and lots of people ask me this question. It seems like a mystery because you get so many different answers from everyone. My hens started laying at 4 months, my hens started at 6 months. Then I get, “My hens are 8 months and still no eggs, is something wrong?" The answer is no, probably not.
