When Faith Makes Waves

"Without warning, a furious storm came upon the lake so that the waves swept over the boat." Mt 8:24

"I have asked to be where no storms come...and out of the swing of the sea," writes one of my favorite poets: But Gerald Manley Hopkins knew better than that! He was faithful Christian. God doesn;t keep us from storms. In fact, sometimes it's our faith in Him that generates all the turbulence.
