In what became one of the largest crashes in the history of the United States stock market, the "Dot-Com" (or "Internet") Bubble leaves behind a lot of lessons to be learned. When it comes to greed and excesses, this bubble was in a league of its own. This became evident in retrospect with the Nasdaq index falling more than 75% from peak to trough and taking 15 years to completely recover its' highs. People got greedy and believed that the internet guaranteed profitability, but this simply was not true. Today, we will discuss:
