Mike Thakur is a faith-based entrepreneur who’s on a mission to change lives by fusing passion and profit to drive purpose. He began his entrepreneurial journey in the UK as co-founder of an internet consultancy and startup incubator, he then flip-flopped his time between senior roles for a billion-dollar IT Company to pursue ministry and mission related roles. In 2007 Mike moved his family to the U.S., spending several years in the nonprofit world before joining The Guidry Group, a boutique private security firm affectionately nicknamed the ‘Secret Service for Billionaires’, that specialized in kidnap, ransom and extortion cases, that eventually led Mike to taking the position of Chief Operating Officer during his time there. Mike is involved with several faith-based, 501(c)(3) organizations committed to helping those who can’t help themselves, and he currently resides in Houston, Texas with his wife, Linda, and three children, Troy, Chloe and Zak.
