Remember the words recorded in 1 Samuel 16: 14-23 and ch18:5-16.. many times David was in trouble under the leadership of saul's. He learned how to stay humble and pray even the more passionately because of his troubles. He didn't ask to be anointed king of the judah, but he was chosen by God Almighty. Yahweh God of Israel had many problems with Saul being faithful and obeyance.
