“We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own soul, closer than our most secret thoughts” -A. W. Tozer, The Pursuit of God   When we speak about God’s hiddenness, we’re speaking about what the Latins called “Deus Absconditus,” The Hidden God.  There are times in the Christian life when God hides; Times when He shields Himself from our visibility.  Though God is always there, an everywhere…. He cannot be ‘not there.’  But this phrase best describes the awful and painstaking experience of knowing God has chosen not to reveal Himself to us at a given time. When this happens, what does it mean? What can we learn from Deus Absconditus?  That’s what we’ll learn in this episode of Podcast Seminary: “When God Hides from Us,” from Podcast Seminary Dean, Dr. Freddy Cardoza
