Before God moves around us, He often works within us.
In Joshua 3, Israel stands at the edge of promise. The wilderness is behind them. The Promised Land is in front of them. The Jordan River is at flood stage. And before God explains the miracle, He gives one command:
“Consecrate yourselves.”
In this sermon, Pastor walks through Joshua 3:1–17 and reveals a timeless Kingdom pattern:
👉 Preparation always precedes promise.
This message speaks to anyone who feels close to what God promised—but unsure why it hasn’t happened yet. God is not delaying you. He’s preparing you.
In this message, you’ll learn:
Why proximity to promise is not the same as readiness
What biblical consecration really means (and what it doesn’t)
Why God often asks for obedience before explanation
How God’s presence must lead before progress follows
Why miracles often wait for a step of faith
The difference between corporate preparation and personal consecration
Key Scriptures Referenced:
Joshua 3:1–5, 13–17
Hebrews 11:1
Romans 12:1
Psalm 24:3–4
Matthew 4:1–11
Acts 1:4–8
