don’t see very far down the road. We know God is good and His plans for

us are what we want. But we can’t often know how God is going to be good

or how His plans are going to play out in ways that show it. So are we

doomed to always feeling like we’re walking blind? Actually, no, we’re

not. In this story, we see something unique. God shows His people what

He has for them and how good He wants to be. And the Lord does that

sometimes in our lives too. Make no mistake; we’re not talking about

seeing or experiencing all the good He has for us. But sometimes just a

taste is meant to encourage us and to help us have the trust and faith

we need to go forward into great promises and great challenges.
