Not stop.

Not quit.

Not fall off.

Pause.

And I didn’t understand it at first. Because in my mind, I had momentum. I had plans. I had consistency. But God wasn’t asking me to perform… He was asking me to be still. So yeah, it got quiet. Not because I didn’t have anything to say… But because I needed to hear Him more than I needed to be heard.

This season stretched me.

Realigned me. Humbled me. And now I understand and the pause wasn’t punishment…

It was preparation.
