In Hebrews 1, we are reminded that God speaks and wants to communicate who he is to us. He has over history gone to great lengths to do so, in the form of the prophets, the Bible, and ultimately in his son Jesus. When we see Jesus, we see what God is like. Taking God's word seriously enables us to better understand who God is, what he likes, and what he wants out of our lives.
