Micah and Nick Reis have been married for fourteen years, and the Lord grew their family through the gift of adoption. Micah is passionate about encouraging Christians and the Church to step up to the calling of caring for the vulnerable. Internationally, there are 140 million orphaned and vulnerable children; less than 1% will have the opportunity to be adopted. In America, there are about 400,000 children in foster care, and about 100,000 of those are available for adoption and waiting for a family. Every year, about 20,000 kids will age out of the foster care system without a family... Christians, what are we doing about these vulnerable children in our backyards?
