Sometimes people around us tell us we need to change but we don’t. We try to help others change by pointing out issues in their lives but they don’t listen.

Change occurs when a person gains insight. As long as we are blind to the issues in our lives or we justify the way we are then we stay the same. But when the light comes on and we see it for ourselves then we are on the road to change. Jesus teaches the principle that insight leads to change in the parable of the prodigal son.
