Sometimes we share our hearts with our husbands, and in that moment… they’re just not able to receive it. Not because they don’t love us—but because they may not yet have the capacity, the understanding, or the perspective.
But as time goes on, as growth happens, and life begins to teach what words couldn’t… there are moments when they look back and realize, “She was right.” And when a man is willing to humble himself, make the adjustment, and grow—that’s a beautiful thing. That’s maturity. That’s love in action. But the challenge comes when there’s no change… when there’s resistance, pride, or unwillingness to grow. That’s where it becomes painful, because what was meant to build the relationship begins to create distance instead. And that’s why growth—on both sides—isn’t optional. It’s necessary.
