Due to king Saul's disobedience in not wiping out Amalec and the amalekites completely from the face of the earth (1 Samuel 15), Israel will have to face their nemesis again in the days of Esther and Mordecai. God was displeased for what the amalekites did to Israel in a time of transition and relocation after being enslaved by the egipcians for more than 400 years. In Exodus and Deuteronomy, God declared that the day of the amalekites destruction was inevitable. Lesson to be learned is the following: Obeying God partially will affect and hinder our path towards the future. That is why is it important to obey God to the fullest so that we don't have to deal with unsettle accounts in the future. May this biblical history sermon be a blessings to you all.
