Are you the one who has to prove it? The one who can't sit still? The one everyone counts on to carry it all, alone? And what would happen if the grind that built you wasn't the thing that had to carry you forward anymore?
In this episode of Journey to Radiance, Melissa, Jo, and Alana sit down with executive and community leader Dr. Seanelle Hawkins to explore what happens when hustle stops being the answer, the grind that built our careers, the identities we formed around proving ourselves, and the ones we're finally learning to put down.
Together, they reflect on ambition, ego, burnout, motherhood, and the quiet courage it takes to ask: is this grind still serving me, or am I just afraid of who I am without it?
From working multiple jobs to prove you belong, to putting your own emotions aside, to tying your worth to how much you get done, this conversation invites you to look honestly at the habits that once protected you but may no longer serve the life you are building.
This episode is for anyone who is tired of grinding alone and ready to let their success multiply through the people around them.
