Psalm 7:1, says this, "Oh, Lord, my God, in You I put my trust." Many years ago, in a time of illness, sorrow threatened to swallow my heart of confidence in God. With my pen in hand and oxygen tank at my side, one day I made a choice. I wrote a song about the faithfulness of God, even when I don't understand. It was eventually recorded as part of a collection on a CD called "Quiet Times." And sometime later a letter came to me from someone who testified that that particular song stopped her in her tracks as she was on the way to commit suicide. It led her back to her childhood faith in Christ. The point is this, even when we don't understand, the purpose of God is still unfolding through each of our lives. It's time to pray.
