Very Creative!
Mixes rhymes (which are in and of themselves very good) with pictures one might take of the great outdoors provided it has something pertaining to "snow". I really enjoyed this and will be looking into more of her offerrings!
Pleasantly surpised to read and find real photos inside!
I enjoyed the fact that there were real photos and not just illustrations.I think the age level would probably be 2nd grade or so. I liked how the words flowed well from one subject to the next.It talks about some things like snowboarding a preschooler might not know about. I marked off a star because there seemed to be a issue with some words not matching up to the picture until the next page. Overall very well done and I would just suggest adding age guides to help out buyers( it's not easy picking out the right kids book sometimes!).

The "When I Dream, I Dream of Snow" is a joyful story with many funny photos of kids and animals. Ginny Dye has captured the magic that you can feel when you are in a winter landscape! Yes, you can really do anything in the world of dreams like the author writes in the beginning of the book!
Delightful and Playful
It is a great read with a child as the pictures draw their attention. There is always a favourite picture for each child. The book stimulates thought and creativity for playing and being outside with your favourite pet dog!
