We don't like the Q-word at ALPs and it's hard to even say it. So, let's rephrase - how do we know when it's time to stop doing something - to stop a project, an initiative, a certain direction, etc.?
It depends.
If it's something that's harmful to you or others, the answer is probably now.
If the answer is more ambiguous, then you should ask yourself more questions.
How long have you been at it, in earnest?
Is there solid data on the effort?
Is it something that will be worthwhile down the road and you're called to finish it?
What's the why behind your efforts?
We wrestle with all these questions on our latest episode.
