It can be difficult to watch others seemingly glide through life, moving from one victory to the next without a single stumble. We scroll through social media or listen to conversations and see perfect families, flourishing careers, and unbroken streaks of success. In comparison, our own journey can feel like a series of hard-fought battles, with losses and setbacks that leave us weary. It is easy to feel discouraged and ask God, "Why does it seem so easy for them and so hard for me?" This temptation to compare our path with someone else’s is a subtle trap that steals our joy and distracts us from our own unique calling.
