About Jake Setterlun
My name is Jake Setterlun. I'm 28 years old from Milwaukee, WI. I got started in business when I was 19 in college figuring out what to do with my life. I've had a few successes and many failures along the way. From failed companies, to scaling to Million dollar months and then loosing it all and building it back up again ... I bring a diverse angle to the general chat about business and starting from nothing.

About Lisa Small
Early in 2020, our dad was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer out of the blue. One day he was fine and the next he was admitted to the hospital for stroke symptoms caused by large brain mets. He passed away in November 2020 after a courageous fight leaving me questioning many things.
In order to make sense of such a significant loss, and more importantly to uphold the legacy of a man who dedicated his entire life to elevating his community and prioritized family, I began to form the idea of Habitual Growth with my brother (Nate). We formulated a process – built from the decades of dedication, hard work and intentional action learned from our father – into the Habitual Growth process. From there, we connected with friends who were interested in personal and professional development and equally had a desire to leave a positive impact on the world, and began to trial the process each day through Essential Actions lists. In 2022, we understood that we had identified a process which drove positive and lasting change through setting specific and actionable goals, identifying daily intentional actions and building positive habits and formally incorporated our company, Habitual Growth.

About Tanya Akimenko
I love everything about a business. It’s a powerful journey that pushes individuals to achieve beyond what they thought possible, forces them to uncover strengths they never knew they had, and builds resilience through both highs and lows. Entrepreneurs are a unique breed—cut from a different cloth. They tap into a part of their brain most people never access.
And in my 20 years of experience, I’ve had a front-row seat to business owners—their finances, how they make decisions, and what truly drives their success.
Finances are the heartbeat of every business, and accounting is the language that brings those finances to life.
