In our series of Black Liberation Theology we discuss the aspects of betrayal and how it works and brings us to a crossroad.
The worse thing about betrayal is that at times it comes from those who are the closest to you, such as a brother, sister, spouse, parent, friend, and significant other. Betrayal hurts when it comes to us. We at times require, and even ask for vengeance. However vengeance doesn't bring healing when we take it out of God's hands and place it into ours. God heals the broken hearted and brings vengeance to those who have been victimized and even betrayed.
Let us not let betrayal be the defining moment in our life that we quit life and give up on our dreams.
