In this morning’s Scripture we listen in as Jesus has a farewell conversation with his disciples. In a short while, he will leave them. In a little while, they will feel alone. Not too far removed from today's event's they'll wonder how they can continue on. In today's passage, Jesus prepares his disciples (and us) for what is to come. In the midst of uncertainty, he offers to us the Holy Spirit. In the midst of upheaval, Jesus extends to us the presence of His Spirit. Why does that matter? What difference does it make?
