As Jesus passed by Jericho, on getting to the place where Zacchaeus was perched on a tree, He stopped, called Zacchaeus by name, and asked him to come down and take Him (Jesus) to his (Zacchaeus) house. Why did Jesus stop where Zacchaeus was? Why did He want to eat at Zacchaeus’ house? What was this whole thing about?
