There is an old hymn that testifies, “Jesus calls us o’er the tumult of our life’s wild, restless sea.” This episode we wanted to talk about Matthew 14:22-31, where Jesus does indeed calls to his disciples in the midst of the wild and restless sea, but he is not beckoning them away from the storm. Instead, his voice calls them into the tumult.
