Joy is not a feeling. Happiness is a feeling. Feelings are fleeting and temporary. Joy is eternal. It's a gift we receive, recognize and honor - a gift from God Himself. Joy is knowing in spite of this evil, twisted world we temporarily live in, our salvation - our eternity, is safe and secure in the hands of our almighty and powerful God.
