Proverbs is rooted in timeless wisdom
Proverbs 5:21-22 NLT
“For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes. An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him.”
Gods wisdom applies to me as a child and to me as an adult and to my children and their children.
This reminds us that our present crisis, our pregnant challenges have answers! There is a world to speak to our culture THE CHURCH can and should bring the wisdom of heaven into our world….
The community of wisdom tunes us into the voice of God and tunes out the noise of the world.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT
“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”
This is a crucial season to stay connected. So much noise needs to be filtered through the EQ of community.
Facebook is not community
Instagram is not community
YouTube is not community
Social platforms can not become your Local Church…
Who are you tuning in?! Who are you tuning out?! You have be INTENTIONAL about both.
Prayer is the only antidote to anxiety
Philippians 4:6 NIV
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
