3rd Sunday after Easter

1 Peter 2:19-25

We were never promised a care-free earthly life, and we were never promised earthly justice for wrongs we feel we've endured. God has already granted us the most important promise - salvation and life eternal in heaven. While we pass through this earthly life, we must forsake notions of earthly vengeance or entitlement. The blessings and mercy given us are for us to share!
