1 Jonn 4:8
Everything God says and does flows from the essence, from this statement. “He is LOVE’
God’s love is always aiming to help us conform to the image of Jesus.
Pruning, purifying, blessing, taking away. Every action by God leads us to that one word Love. We want God love to serve our own desires instead His desire for our life. Our will and not His. We must trust His process and His will.
Sometimes it comes in the form of pruning. We don’t always recognize that as love but it can feel like punishment, rejection, abandonment. We always thing increase but it can be decrease. He is trying to move us into a degree of maturity.
We must lean upon the word of God and remain hungry for the will of the Father as He is giving us His presence to understand his LOVE even deeper.
