Attention Holder

I was amazed at how gripping this tale is with quite a bit less dialog than most. It Facebook insight into viking daily life in their settlements and how they dealt with every day living while also providing some excellent battle scenes. The main theme of the narrative kept moving forward to a satisfying but open conclusion leaving hope that a sequel will follow.

A fantastic, action packed Viking epic

A fantastic, action packed Viking epic. I could not put this book down it was so easy to read and exciting. It had everything, interesting and loveable characters, exciting battles, humour, love, heartbreak. Some parts had me on the edge of my seat, some parts had me laughing and some parts made me cry. It's an interesting and enjoyable insight into Viking life. The story follows the life and loves of Leif and his Viking settlement as they try to recover his father's stolen ship and avenge his murder by those who wear the cross! The narrative is so wonderfully descriptive it makes you feel as you are there in that era and you get to know all the characters so well you have feelings for each of them and laugh and cry along with them. Really looking forward to a sequel.

Epic Viking Romantic Story

A romantic historical fiction novel that runs the gamut of emotions, from the grief of death to the joy of birth. All this takes place in a Viking settlement where the very strong and memorable male and female characters bring you into the daily going-ons of the settlement. I enjoyed the surprising twists and turns as the story unfolded, revealing warm family scenes and the clash of warriors battling to the death.
